..:: OOC ::..
Name/Alias: Lii -_-;;
..:: BiC ::..
Full Name: Miyazaki (Me-yah-zah-ki) Fuyume (Fo-you-may) (Fuyume, being his first name, because in Japan, they reverse the order)
Age: 18
Parents: Miyazaki Akito and Miyazaki Umi
Blood/Species: Gifted Human
History:
Fuyume was born in the dead of winter in the great (at least it was) city of Nagasaki, Japan. Fuyume was a healthy child, born with bright blue eyes which were naturally uncommon and different from the usual brown. His parents named him Fuyume, meaning “Winter eyes” referring to the season he was born in and the colour of his eyes. His eyes were always a problem. He was fine until he reached the age of eight. When he was eight, he started having difficulty seeing things. Some things seemed to be draped in a veil of light, other times he saw, or rather, didn’t see, huge spots of blackness that would sometimes cross his vision. His parents brought him to the doctor and he was diagnosed with Optic Nerve Melanocytoma.
Optic Nerve Melanocytoma is an eye cancer that forms on the optic nerve of the eye, causing difficulty in vision and even complete blindness. To prevent the cancer from spreading, they operated. The downfall? He was rendered blind in the operation, but hey; better than dying a slow, pain ridden death of cancer, right? After the surgery, one of his eyes was damaged and the pupil is constantly dilated, making his one eye look black. It was around this time that he learned about World War II from his parents. The atomic bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki was probably to blame for his eye cancer. But that’s really beside the point. Fuyume is on and off cancer treatment to make sure the cancer doesn't reappear. He's had one scare already.
Fuyume grew up, not being spiteful for his blindness, for he was alive after all. And he was completely blind. On good days he could make out grey shapes in the cloudy darkness. He was taught to respect his elders, like any Japanese child. He was taught to respect everyone and everything living, for it all had a spirit. He believed firmly in the Shinto religion, like he was brought up.
When he started high school, he started to learn English. That wasn’t the only thing either. After puberty, Fuyume noticed that he started to see things. Sometimes wonderful things and other times things he wished he couldn’t see. He had no idea what he was seeing. The wonderful things had great feathered wings and made him feel happy and whole. They were usually surrounded by halos of white or blue light. On the other hand, the terrible things had vicious smiles and halos of red. He could usually see a ghost of a human form overlaying the demon’s form. Sometimes wolfs, sometimes things he couldn’t even describe. He figured, maybe he was seeing demons and angels. He could see regular people’s auras, but they were nothing compared to the halos of white and red light.
He moved to the city (Have we named it yet? Ha-ha. XD) with his parents, and too his surprise he started seeing more angels and demons, so they weren’t just in Japan. He once talked to one of the angels, or what he assumed was angels and his thoughts were confirmed, he was indeed seeing the true form of angel and demons, for what purpose the angel could not tell him.
Now Fuyume is eighteen and he has mostly mastered the English language. He still sees things but generally ignores them. As a mortal, there isn’t much he can do. Or can he?
Appearance:
Fuyume, on first glance appears to be quite tall, but in actuality he only stands at 5’8. Maybe it’s sometime about his appearance that makes him seem so tall. He is rather scrawny in unnatural, unhealthy way, which is caused by his chemo-therapy to make sure the cancer doesn’t show its face again. He isn’t currently on chemo, but he hasn’t gained the weight back from his last treatment two years ago. He’s literally skin and bones which adds to his height. On top of that, he’s prone to wearing black and clothes that elongate his figure, like fitted suits and tops. Like the rest of him, his face is gaunt and narrow. He looks like he hasn’t eaten in days. His cheeks are too pronounced and his eyes are hallowed out and usually have dark circles under them.
The first thought, usually, upon seeing Fuyume is that he’s Goth. He has the creamy white complexion, which again, was caused by cancer and being on chemo treatment on an off every few years. He is prone to wearing black, greys and dark violets. His face is fairly androgynous (Along with the rest of his figure as well.) He has gently sloping shoulders. His hips stick out, but aren’t sharp like most males, they are shapely and can even be considered feminine.
Fuyume has the nice chestnut Japanese hair and contrasting bright blue eyes, at least he did. Now one is a clouded blue and the other (whose pupil is constantly dilated caused by a complication in surgery) seems completely black. Right now, he has a few blonde highlights (suggested by mother, considering he can’t see them.) His style, which is greatly picked by a close friend (who he trusts to have SOME fashion sense).
Personality:
Fuyume is a rather quiet boy, usually doesn't speak unless spoken too. Get him started though and he could chat up a storm (as long as he likes you). Fuyume is rather cold emotionally, like his name implies. He is frosty in the respect of love. He doesn't believe in love and usually gives people the cold shoulder in that regard. He is highly respectful because of his background. He treats all elders respectfully.
Because of his cancer and loss of sight, he can be rather bitter, though living through the experiance has taught him to treasure life and respect it. Even if he doesn't like someone, he'll bite his tongue and be respectful anyway. He has learned that everyone deserves respect, even if they don't, it makes you the better 'man' to give them respect.
Fuyume has quite a nice attitute. He jokes around a lot. He can't take life too seriously, or everything will get to him. Because of the things he 'sees' he has learned to not take life seriously at all or some of the things he had seen would have driven him insane by this point.
He can have his depressed moments, as all do. Espesically when he is taking his chemo and feels like shit. His eyes bother him a lot, the hurt and he gets headahces. During his headaches he is quite irritable and is prone to snapping and saying things he doesn't mean.
Special Abilities:
He can;'t see physical things, but he can see the aura's of people and of angels, demons and other supernatural beings.
